Wendy’s’ fascination with safety stems from her parents’ careers. Her father was a police officer, who was always prepared for any emergency, and her mother worked for the local utility company which added another layer of safety consciousness. Once Wendy got into college, she started developing an interest in medical emergencies. It wasn’t long before she decided to become an EMT where she gets to help people in all types of dangerous situations.
After talking with one of her coworkers, the idea of SaferTomorrows.org was born. Nothing makes this small team happier than avoiding danger; they hope this site will be useful to people of all ages.
